K.C.B. Interlight - Sp. z o.o. is a manufacturer of candle products operating since 1989 on the Polish and international market, ranking among the leading companies in the industry.

One of the main sources of our company's success is operating in a responsible manner with future generations in mind. The sustainable development of our company involves achieving economic goals in an ethical manner, with respect for the local community and the natural environment.

The management system implemented at KCB meets the requirements of ISO 9001 and 14001 standards, while also taking into account social interests, environmental aspects and relations with various stakeholder groups. Customer satisfaction is our top priority and shapes the direction of our company's development. We focus on friendly, long-term relationships.

We are also aware that our success depends to a large extent on the commitment of our employees, which is why we make every effort to provide them with comfortable working conditions and a friendly atmosphere.

We implement our quality and environmental policy through:

  • continuous improvement of the management system in full compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015,
  • active involvement of employees in quality and environmental activities,
  • improvement of professional qualifications and skills of employees,
  • use of modern production methods,
  • implementing new technologies,
  • modernising our machine park,
  • using high-quality raw materials  and strictly defined standards,
  • subjecting our products to continuous conformity checks in a modern in-house laboratory, as well as periodic checks by independent experts,
  • researching the needs, expectations and satisfaction of key stakeholders,
  • developing partnerships with suppliers and subcontractors based on a proven evaluation system,
  • identifying, evaluating, monitoring and controlling environmental aspects, including significant aspects, in order to reduce negative impact on the environment,
  • responsible planning and implementation of operational projects, taking into account environmental aspects,
  • caring for the positive image of the company and customer trust,
  • complying with and respecting legal requirements, other regulations and environmental protection requirements by fulfilling the obligations arising from the Decision on waste generation and the release of gases and dust into the air,
  • maintaining, developing and improving environmental management systems, setting environmental objectives and plans, taking into account local conditions and the specific nature of the business,
  • cooperating with entities in compliance with environmental standards and regulations, where environmental management is rationally integrated into the supply chain business model,
  • striving to reduce waste generation, air emissions and noise in accordance with the permits held and national legislation, and transferring sewage and waste to specialised entities,
  • careful selection of service providers in terms of compliance with environmental protection and process safety standards,
  • having procedures and taking preventive measures to counteract the occurrence of accidents,
  • rational use and consumption of raw materials, fuels, energy and water from the municipal network,
  • making every effort to ensure that employees are familiar with and respect the principles of environmental policy, are responsible for its effective implementation, and that staff at all levels of the organisation are aware of their role,
  • combining justified economic growth with environmental protection.

Employees have been familiarised with the policy, which is publicly available. Senior management is committed to implementing the policy at all organisational levels.
